Character Name: Jubilation 'Jubilee' Lee
Character Age: 16

Affiliation: New Mutants
Powers and Abilities: Jubilee can generate multi-colored globules of energy plasma which she calls fireworks. She can decide their power level and intesity; they can be anything from a beautiful array of sparkles that she can use to blind her opponent to a powerful detonation with destructive powers. She can absorb that same power back into her body without any harm to herself. She is also a talented gymnast and rollerblader which she can sometimes use in combat when needed. She is being trained in CPR and other forms of first aid, as well as hand to hand combat.
Personality: Jubilee is a very happy and bright person; she loves to have fun, but she has also learned the importance of being serious when the time is right. She has been known to get in trouble at the school, but she has learned her lesson and for the most part she is very well behaved these days. She is still a fun loving girl, and she can be found rollerblading on the grounds much to dismay of Wolverine. She has been known to knock over a trash can or two, and she can always be counted of when it comes to a neat fireworks display for holidays of any kind.
She makes friends easy and is very loyal to them once they have gained her trust. She is a very generous person and she will do whatever she can to help out her friends. Should someone ever get on her bad side they better watch out; she may look like this sweet and innocent kid, but she has a fiery temper and she can be a foe right out of your worst nightmares.
She considers her powers to be a blessing, and is more than willing to show them off at anytime. She believes as her teacher Storm has taught her; there isn't anything wrong with her, she is just one of the many next steps in the evolutionary chain. She is not very studious, but she does try to apply herself if only for her teachers' benefit. She is rather intelligent, but mainly she is street smart which comes in handy while working with the New Mutants.
Scene Examples: Jubilee had been in her room most of the day, but now it was time to come out have a little fun. When she woke up the first thing that she thought about was heading outside, but this was normal for her. She climbed out of her bed and made it up before walking over to dresser. She pulled out some blue jeans and a white tank top and walked into the bathroom. After a few moments she walked back out of the bathroom with her clothes changed, and she headed over to her bed. Sitting there beside her bed was her sneakers and a pair of bright blue socks that she had set out the night before. She pulled her socks and sneakers on and grabbed her mp3 player and headphones, before rushing out the door and down the stairs.
Once she reached the perfect part on the grounds, she laid back on the ground and looked up at the sky. She concentrated, drawing up a blast of plasma and shooting up into the air; this time she did time the detonation, causing it to explode up in the air creating a vibrant show of fireworks. She pulled her headphones and her mp3 player out of her pocket and she put her headphones in her ears and before she knew she was singing along with the music. "I'm gonna soak up the sun. Gonna tell everyone to lighten up. I'm gonna tell 'em that I've got no one to blame for every time I feel lame I'm looking up o I'm gonna soak up the sun. I'm gonna soak up the sun".
She laid back and spread out her arms as if she were literally soaking up the sun. The song came up on her favorite part so she started to sing along once again "I've got a crummy job; it don't pay near enough to buy the things it takes to win me some of your love. Every time I turn around I'm looking up, you're looking down; maybe something's wrong with you that makes you act the way you do. Maybe i am crazy too!" The whole time that she was singing along her toes were tapping along to the beat, and she had a bright smile on her face.
